Description
Winnie the Pooh 50p Coin made by the Royal Mint in England. Brilliant, Uncirculated Coin. Only issued in 2020.First published in 1926, the classic Winnie the Pooh stories by AA Milne were written for his son Christopher Robin. Winnie was inspired by his son's favourite Teddy Bear.
The illustrations were created by EH Shepard. Almost 95 years later their appeal just seems to keep growing.
The design includes Winnie's honey pot, almost as familiar as Winnie himself.
Struck by the Royal Mint, this highly collectible 50p coin measures 27.3mm in diameter and weighs 8 grams. The coin has never been circulated so it's in excellent condition.
The 50p was the world's first 7 sided coin when it was first introduced in 1969.
The Coin comes complete with presentation pack, perfect for coin collectors or for gift giving.
