circa 1927 art deco
guilloche enamel
ronson "princess" de-
l
ight automatic pocket petrol lighter. the
silver-
plated lighter features
fabulous inlay 5 color glass enamel
floral panels
on both sides
. the de-light automatic one motion model was designed by louis v. aronson of newark, new jersey and is certainly one of the most important lighters of the 20th century
coming in numerous versions
. the underside is marked ronson de-light amw newark, nj with patent info. the "princess" measures about 1-3/4" tall x 1-3/8" wide and is in
excellent un
used condition
with original white wick. There are tiny storage nicks on the lighter mostly on the underside that slightly detract. there are t
iny aged dirt spots that do not detract.
the mechanism moves correctly
but
is untested and may
have an old flint needing removal for use.
