    design with an automatic one motion mechanism
    . this interesting
    desk
    lighter model was likely designed
    by F
    rederick Kaupmann
    of newark new jersey who was a
    vice president of
    design for Ronson in the 1940's thru early 1950's. this model was never put into production and
    is the only known example. i purchased this lighter from the Ronson vice president of design Seymour Rappoport in 1980. the wonderful lighter measures about 3-1/2" tall x 2" wide and is in excellent unused sparking condition.  the mechanism will operate with proper service of petrol fuel  overall - an important and superb Ronson "A
