IT WILL BLOW YOUR CIRCUIT BOARD.

If your unit powers on and shows a display, it is functioning properly.

These must be connected to either a FLASHED OEM controller or generic clone controller.  If you try to plug these directly into a ride share (Bird, Lyft, Spin, etc.) scooter controller, it will not work and you will get error codes!

We recommend using only FLASHED OEM controllers because of the build quality.  Cheap controllers may blow your battery, buy at your own risk. “Flashed Segway ES4 Controllers” are available online.

Once installed, use the official app and update your firmware.
UPDATE FOR REFURBISHED SCOOTERS PURCHASED AT WALMART.  This FLASHED Circuit Board will allow you to:
Update to the latest firmware.
Unlock retail capabilities.
Unlock all 3 speed modes through app.
The only thing that does not work is the BLE update to v1.0.9.

Please do not swap these out with ride share controllers or broken circuit boards!
