Here up for sale is a hard to find Mego Doodlebugs Fire Car wind up toy from 1978, mint in the package.  It is marked "F.D. no. 1" on the sides.  To use the doodlebug, you press it down on on a flat smooth surface, moving it back and forth lightly, and then release it.  The doodlebug will do unpredictable tricks and stunts.  Package has corner wear and bends, and some marks where a price sticker was in the upper right corner area as shown.  The clear blister plastic packaging shows some denting mostly on the left and back side.  The Doodlebug measures about 2.75" long.  Package measures about 4" wide by 4.25" tall by 2.75" deep.  Nice unusual Mego packaged item that displays nicely.
