The 2017 circulating five pound coin of the Isle of Man feature a triskelion symbol, used as an overarching symbol on the highest denomination coin. The triskelion is arguably the most known symbol of the Isle of Man, it is included in both the coat of arms and the flag of the Isle of Man.
The new more compact five pound coin has been struck in Alpaca metal and has a diameter of 32mm. The obverse carries an effigy of Her majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark, this effigy being reserved for the Crown dependencies and Commonwealth countries.
