    The puppet has a hole in the back of the head for operating the mouth as well as pockets on the back of each hand.
    Ernie is in great shape. His shirt is a little faded, white parts of his shoes and eyes are a bit dingy. I think there were a couple stitches that came loose that attached the heck of the shirt to the neck of the body to hold the shirt in place when manipulating the arms but those are gone, could easily be re-attached. With a little TLC this guy could look like brand new!
