A Brilliant Uncirculated 50 Pence coin. (30mm wide/13.5 gram weight)
This coin is chock full of symbolism. The primary design element is Britannia, the symbol of Roman Britain.  Britannia is a young woman wearing a Corinthian helmet. She wields Poseidon's Trident, representing dominance over the seas. Beside her is a Greek hoplite shield sporting the Union Jack and seated next to her is a Lion, long a symbol of England and Scotland.
    172,000 minted.
Coin housed in inert plastic baggie intended for short-term storage.
    Shipping:
Coins shipped via standard envelope are shipped first class in envelopes with tracking. Generally, coins shipped for .99c are standard envelope. The coins are packaged between two pieces of cardboard, or card stock paper. I have found this to be a very safe way to ship coins for several years and have not had any issues yet, though it is always possible something can go wrong. In the event anything goes wrong, the coins are covered by Ebay protection.
