First, connect one Adapter to the broadband modem/router via Ethernet, and then to the coaxial network. Ten, additional Adapters can be installed throughout the home or office at any location Ethernet Internet access is needed, and an available coaxial port is available. Connecting the First Adapter The first Adapter must be connected to the broadband modem/router, and then to the coaxial network (Please see pics) a digital cable rated splitter may be needed if there is no available coax port to backfeed the MoCa signal to the existing coax for the rest of the home. All existing coax cables in the home MUST Be On The Same Splitters. We Can Provide Additional Splitters If Necessary for a small fee IE (2way splitter rated up to 1002Mhz will be .99 additional, a 3way balanced splitter will be .50, a 4way splitter will be .99, a 6way will be .99, an 8way will be .99. If the modem cable box or Tivo are in the same location you will need a 3way splitter (1) for the coax feed to the modem, (1) for the coax feed to the modem or router combo and (1) to backfeed the MoCa to activate the rest of the existing coax cables in the home. This Adapter takes the Internet signal from the modem or router and delivers it to the coaxial network. To connect the first Adapter Connect a coaxial cable into a coaxial wall port near the modem/router 2. Connect the other end of the coaxial cable installed in step 1 to the Coax port on the side of the Adapter. 3. Connect one end of an Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port of the modem/router. 4. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port on the side of the Adapter. 5. Plug the provided power adapter into the Power port on the side of the Adapter. 6. Plug the other end of the power adapter Connecting Additional Adapters If necessary, additional Adapters can be placed in locations around the home or ofce that need an Ethernet Internet connection, but at present only have a coaxial port. To connect additional Adapters:
1. Connect a coaxial cable into a coaxial wall port near the location an Ethernet port is needed.
2. Connect the other end of the coaxial cable installed in step 1 to the Coax port on the side of the Adapter.
3. Connect one end of an Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port of the device to connect to the Internet.
4. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port on the side of the Adapter.
5. Plug the provided power adapter into the Power port on the side of the Adapter
