    Description

    This is a unique, custom made, hand crafted, five string, carbon fiber banjo. Made by hand in Co. Donegal, Ireland, it is decorated with a hand painted Celtic design and has book matched quilted maple veneers.
    The neck, pot, flange and tone ring are all
    molded
    in a one piece carbon
    fiber
    composite, using a vacuum infusion process. This has several advantages:

    The tension hoop is made with unidirectional carbon
    fiber
    , which makes it very stiff and prevents deflection while tightening the head. The armrest is decorated with maple veneer, which is integrated with the tension hoop. The tailpiece and bridge are hand carved from one solid piece of carbon. This banjo comes with Gator hard case, EMG acb banjo pickup and Rickard Cyclone 10:1 tuning pegs.
